Ingredients
- 2 1/2 tbsp Onion Burger Seasoning from the Grillhouse
- 12 bacon slices
- 6 slices onion
- 6 slices cheese
- 6 Burger Buns
- 2 lb. fresh Canadian ground beef shoulder
Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef with Club House La Grille Onion Burger Seasoning. Use Napoleon's burger press to form 1/3 lb. patties with meat and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill to 400°F (200°C)
- While the grill is preheating, but still cold, place your bacon on the grates. This will limit bacon shrinkage.
- When the bacon is half-cooked and the grill temperature is rising, cook the patties over direct heat for about 3 minutes on each side.
- When the burgers are almost done, add a slice of onion and your favorite cheese, and let the cheese melt on the onion so that it holds in place.
- Cook the buns on the grill and start assembling your burger, adding your favorite condiments. Don't forget the bacon!
