For one or two people, a 3.5 to 4.5 cu. ft. dryer is usually sufficient. For households of three to four people, we recommend a 5.5 to 6.5 cu. ft. capacity, which lets you handle multiple loads per week without running extra cycles. For five people or more, a 6.5 to 7.5 cu. ft. drum is ideal for drying large loads efficiently.
