Design has always been central to Huppé's identity. At the heart of this creative process is the Huppé Design Lab, led by Joël Dupras. This in-house team continuously explores new materials, techniques, and ideas to evolve the collections while maintaining the balance between aesthetics and functionality.
The brand also collaborates with internationally recognized designers, including Luca Nichetto, Karim Rashid, and Shin Azumi. Each brings a unique perspective that helps shape contemporary collections designed to remain relevant beyond changing trends.

Huppé offers extensive customization options to ensure your furniture fits naturally within your home. Depending on the collection, you can choose from more than 80 colours and finishes, a selection of North American wood species, a variety of fabrics and leathers, ceramic surfaces, glass accents, and lacquered steel components.

Made in Quebec, From Start to Finish
From design to finishing, Huppé oversees every stage of manufacturing. This close collaboration between design, production, and quality control teams allows the company to maintain high standards throughout the process.
Before reaching your home, a Huppé piece of furniture goes through more than 20 manufacturing steps. Skilled craftspeople cut materials, assemble components, apply finishes, and perform multiple inspections to ensure consistent quality.
The NOW Program: Faster Production Times
Select collections eligible for the NOW Program receive priority treatment at the factory. Once your order is confirmed, production is accelerated to help reduce manufacturing lead times.
The process begins as soon as your JC Perreault advisor submits your order. Your furniture is then produced at Huppé's facility in Victoriaville and shipped directly to one of our stores.

Materials Chosen for Quality and Durability
Huppé primarily works with birch, ash, white oak, and walnut sourced from northeastern North America.
Contrary to a common misconception, many Huppé collections combine real wood veneers with solid wood components. This construction method provides excellent stability, a wider variety of finish options, and durability comparable to solid wood while making efficient use of natural resources.
Huppé's upholstered furniture also features materials selected for long-term performance, including high-density foam, premium support systems, full-grain leathers, and carefully selected fabrics.
Built with Sustainability in Mind
Sustainability is integrated into Huppé's manufacturing practices.
The company recovers heat generated by its finishing facilities to help heat its buildings, reducing natural gas consumption by approximately 75 percent. Huppé also supports reforestation initiatives through its partnership with Trees Canada.
By sourcing materials from North America and manufacturing locally, Huppé also helps reduce transportation distances associated with furniture production.
