How to Clean Your Dishwasher in 5 Easy Steps

Clean Removable Parts
Remove the racks, utensil holders, and any detachable components. Soak them in warm water mixed with vinegar for about 30 minutes to dissolve grease and food residue. Then clean them manually.
Wipe the Interior

How to Install Your Dishwasher in 6 Simple Steps
Installing a dishwasher at home may seem technical, but if your kitchen is already equipped with a power outlet, water supply, and drainage system, you can do it yourself by following these key steps.
STEP 1 | PREPARE THE SPACE
Make sure the area has a grounded electrical outlet a few inches above the floor to avoid contact with water in case of leaks. Also ensure that your plumbing includes a hot water supply, a drain line, and an accessible shut-off valve. If replacing an old unit, we recommend using new hoses for long-term leak protection.
STEP 2 | TURN OFF WATER AND POWER
Before proceeding, shut off the water and electricity to your kitchen. This ensures you can work safely.
STEP 3 | CONNECT THE WATER SUPPLY
Attach the dishwasher’s inlet hose to the hot water line. Make sure the hose isn't kinked and insert a sealing washer before tightening. Use plumber's tape or silicone grease for leak prevention, and open the valve to check for leaks. If access is tight, consider calling a plumber to install a shut-off valve under the sink.
STEP 4 | ATTACH THE DRAIN HOSE
Connect the dishwasher’s drain hose to the side inlet of the drain pipe. Secure it with a clamp, and make sure it includes an anti-backflow device to prevent water from coming back into the unit.
STEP 5 | COMPLETE THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Wire the dishwasher to the power supply, following the color codes of the wires. Use proper wire nuts and close the junction box securely. Never use an extension cord to connect a dishwasher.
STEP 6 | CHECK THE INSTALLATION
Use a level to ensure the appliance is straight and stable. Then, restore power and water. Check for leaks and confirm that all connections are secure.
